They both have the passion of horses and proudly wear the colors of the Hagetmau equestrian center, the Halco equestrian farm. Virginie Maudet, BPJEPS graduate teacher coach, domiciled in Samadet and a member at the local club Les Cavaliers du Gabas, a strong association of 80 riders, took under her wing Julie Tucoulet. The latter, coached by Virginie, was able to participate, in the heart of summer, in the French championship, in Lamotte-Beuvron.
A true horse paradise, next to Orleans, this city has the largest equestrian complex in Europe, on 400 hectares (tracks, parking, boxes, etc.) and organizes the Generali Open de France each year. This competition, one of the largest equestrian gatherings in Europe, sees 15,000 riders representing 2,000 clubs, all attracting nearly 500,000 visitors.

Julie Tucoulet and her Wakanda Fine Lady mare won the TREC (Equestrian Competition Hiking technique), which had 18 competitors in the individual elite club category. A true living showcase of the amateur equestrian world, this championship brings together several Olympic and non -Olympic disciplines, each of them containing several categories of events.
