Chardonne aims at the world record for outlets outlets
A harvest festival is organized in September by the association Les lovers de Chardonne. Chasselas could enter Guinness Book.
The poster of the Harvest Festival of Chardonne 2025 brings together epicureans, musician and revelers. The goal of this new event is above all to bring together the various participants around wine heritage.

We still remember: last April, near 5000 participants had gone to Martigny to swallow more than 2,000 kilos of cheese, enough to repatriate the world record for the largest raclette to Switzerland. This time, it is on the side of the bottle that something is being prepared, to Throb.
On September 12 and 13, a new Harvest festival Prepares for the village of La Riviera. And the organizers do not do things by halves. They will try on this occasion to bring together enough participants to lead the largest number of wine bottles simultaneously.
3000 hoped -for plugs
“And only the chasselas of the winegrowers of Chardonne”, specifies Kamel Bourébi, the organizer of the event. “We hope that 3000 traffic jams will fly in the air!” Note that the activity is paying, count 35 francs for a 37.5 cl bottle, a corkscrew, a souvenir glass as well as the possibility of ordering a Guinness World Records certificate.
The president of the association Les lovers de Chardonne counts above all on this event to make an impression. “In addition to the hunt for this record held by Poschiavo, in Graubünden, with nearly 1000 outlets outlets, Chardonne will also be the second municipality in the region to organize a harvest festival, after Lutry».
The celebrated terroir
With this celebration, the organizers wish above all to highlight the rich wine heritage of their country of countries, to celebrate ancestral traditions and to honor the passionate work of local winegrowers. At the head of the committee, Kamel Bourébi is not on his first try. The entrepreneur already organizes “the capitalFor three years, a gourmet stroll that has linked to Corsicans every summer.
This time, he still relies on gastronomy and festivities alloy. “Our village will be two days time for a meeting place where wine lovers, and families will meet to live an unforgettable moment.”
130 -meter tavolata
And to do this, the program is complete: Tavolata of 130 meters for 500 guests, pressed of grapes, craft market, master class on old vintages, beef on spit, concerts and entertainment for children. However, a large procession is missing, lovers of Chardonne “preferring to focus for the moment on these many other activities to set up”.
The latter await 4000 people and intend to bring together a hundred volunteers for the good performance of this event. “Thanks to them, the party will be all the more beautiful and will also allow to tighten links with the inhabitants,” concludes Kamel Bourébi.
