According to the Axios media, during a dinner with some journalists, Sam Altman revealed that Optai could launch a kind of encryption on Chatgpt. “We are very serious about this”would have indicated the CEO of Openai, before adding that, for the moment, there is no agenda defined for such a functionality. In any case, this encryption could be offered on the ephemeral cat of Chatgpt, in order to strengthen its confidentiality.
We do not know precisely how this encryption could work. But it is always possible that Optai is inspired by Apple or WhatsApp, which created an architecture which allows an AI on a server to process user messages, without these messages being accessible by employees.
