The local health contract is a tool at the service of a health policy, aimed at promoting the health of residents and reducing social and territorial health inequalities. It identifies the vulnerabilities of the territory and lists the actions to be carried out aimed at improving environmental and social contexts with an impact on the health of the population.

Indeed, the reduction of social inequalities of care is played out in the accessibility of resources but also in taking into account health determinants, mainly environmental and social factors.
