This amicable agreement, reported Tuesday by the American media, is the latest concession to date from a major media in the face of the attacks of the Republican President.
He will avoid a consecutive trial at the complaint filed by the billionaire in October 2024, while he was a candidate in the White House. Donald Trump’s lawyers claimed $ 20 billion.
The amount of $ 16 million will be paid to the future presidential library of Donald Trump and not directly to the President, paramount said in a statement quoted by American media.
The media conglomerate and entertainment content also noted that the agreement did not provide for any public excuse on its part.

The amicable agreement comes when part of the executive executives of Paramount believe that this dispute with Donald Trump obstructs the group’s merger project with the Skydance production company, to try to compete with the streaming barons.
