A civil court in Brussels ordered the Flemish government to block any shipping of military equipment, or for potential military use, intended for Israel, passing by the region, in particular via the port of Antwerp, the Belga agency reported on Thursday.
This decision follows a complaint filed by four Belgian NGOs, which argued that these shipments could break Belgian law on arms trade as well as international humanitarian law.
