Cover Green, a pergola made in France and 2 in 1 clad in solar panels

The start-up Cover Green offers a 100 % Made in France solar pergola. It allows users to benefit from a shaded space in their garden or terraceto relax, read or simply take advantage of the outside of the sun. But also and above all, to produce green electricity without the need for solar panels on the roof, generally difficult to install and expensive. For example, it is necessary to provide between 6,000 and 24,000 € to install modules of a power between 3 and 9 kWc, according to Hello Watt. Consisting of 4 vertical beams welcoming photovoltaic panels, the woodwood pergola is designed to store solar energy and convert it into electrical energy. An interesting investment to reduce its energy bills and contribute to the energy transition, while enjoying the beautiful days.

Simple installation and very practical

The start-up Cover Green offers two options for this solar pergola, namely in kit or turnkey. If we choose the second option, it is delivered installed and connected. On the other hand, for the first, it is delivered in kit and It is the users themselves who assemble. After fixing the vertical feet and posts, the upper part of the roof is assembled thanks to the angles connectors and followed it at the top of the structure. The next step is to strengthen the installation using the remaining beams and fix the aluminum rails of solar panels, before fixing the latter one by one. The last step, in particular the connection of panels to the meter, requires the intervention of an RGE electrician. Of course, the assembly instructions are provided with the kit which includes, among other things, laminated poles, posts of posts, photovoltaic panels, horizontal structural beams, all stainless steel hardware needed for assembly, etc.
