After the great victory and power of power Paul Lapeira (Decathlon Ag2r La Mondiale) in puncturers the day before, the Poland Tour reserved a demanding 3rd stage this Wednesday around WaĆbrzych, with a hilly route in a circuit of 159.3 km and a succession of short but very steep coasts throughout the day. A sort of classic Ardennes who has only really decanted about twenty kilometers from the finish following a big fall in a descent which unfortunately involved the carrier of the yellow jersey Paul Lapeiraobviously well touched on the side of the road with in particular Mathias Vacek (Lidl-trek) et Antonio Tiberi (Bahrain Victorious).

The race resumes for the stage victory, the time frozen for the general
From the morning escape, Kelland O’Brien (Jayco alula) had at the same time been joined at the front by Diego Ulissi (XDS astana) and Lorenzo Milesi (Movistar) Before the peloton decides not to drive to wait for the runners involved. Seeing the top trio getting forward quickly, the organization made the decision to temporarily neutralize the race at 15 km, while everything returned to order, medical vehicles being also blocked at the rear to take care of the injured of the fall.
Despite a confused and fairly chaotic situation, the runners then left 15 to 20 minutes later, the three escaped with 40 seconds ahead of a peloton of around forty runners … even if Paul Lapeira does not seem to have been able to leave. Lhe will be frozen, only the stage victory will therefore be at stake in this unconventional and somewhat distorted final.
