Dozens of people were killed on Sunday at Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip. Earlier in the day, the army had announced a daily “tactical break” of military activities. According to the Arabic news channel Al Jazeera, at least 63 people have been killed in different places in the coastal strip since this announcement.
According to eyewitnesses and rescue services, at least twelve people were killed in an Israeli air attack. The Palestinian Information Network QUDS News Network reports on social network X, at least thirty deaths or disappeared during two attacks against houses near Khan Younis.
At least thirteen Palestinians, including two children, were killed when Israeli soldiers opened fire on people waiting for humanitarian aid in the south and north of the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, which quotes medical sources.
The Israeli armed forces have not yet reacted yet. The announced truce would be in force “every day until further notice” in areas where the army is currently not active with land troops, notably Al-Mawasi, Deir al-Balah and Gaza.
