In Brussels, Volodymyr Zelensky will participate in 3 p.m., alongside the president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, in a videoconference of the “coalition of volunteers” for Ukraine, in which Prime Minister Bart de Wever will also take part.
For Mr. Prévot, the displacement of Europeans in small groups in Washington is important “since the participation, however obvious, of Europeans in the peace process, does not seem to flow from source to Washington; this will allow us to be remembered”.
He underlines the “shocking image paradox” between the processing with Donald Trump of the Ukrainian president a few months ago in the oval office and the red carpet unrolled in Alaska to the Russian president Putin.
“We must also put in the right place which is the attacker and which is attacked, avoid any agreement without Ukraine consenting to it”.

Belgium is involved in a future coalition of volunteers if a ceasefire should be declared and that an international interposition force should be put in place on the Russian border.
