On the longtime hot seat, the director of the school circle of Locle (ne) is dismissed. The dismissal, on October 31, was decided by the Cantonal Department of Training and Finance (DFFI), at the request of the city council of the city.

For several years, the Locle school circle has been disrupted by multiple events (death, sick leave, accident, maternity leave and retirement, in particular). They affected the “smooth running” of the activity, mainly for management and the secretariat, had recalled the executive in June.
In March, moreover, the municipal council, which is now a majority of the right, had decided to reorganize the dicasteries. That of education, hitherto led by Michaël Berly (POP), had been taken over by Catherine Jeanneret (PLR).
