Shortly after, still says Victoria, this man would have detached his lifeless animal before dropping him off in the trunk of his car, “Like a vulgar thing”.
Following the broadcast of this video, the scene logically created the stir … The owner was quickly warned by knowledge.
A plausible version?
This Saturday, the man therefore engaged in the police confirm the local authorities of Dalhem. If at this stage no file is open to the Liège prosecution, the driver of the vehicle and owner of the dog therefore delivered his version of the facts to the police. According to the bourgmestre of Dalhem, Benoît Defauwers, in charge of safety but also of animal welfare, “Its version could be plausible”.
Concretely, the man explains that it would be a simple accident. The latter would indeed have left his window open and would not have realized that the dog had managed to get out of the vehicle … nor to stay there by a sort of splint.
“An investigation is therefore underway”continues the bourgmestre of Dalhem, “The main witness must still be heard this Saturday, it is still a little early. We cannot in any case affirm at this stage that it is a case of animal abuse”.
