A mother jumped with her child less than a year Thursday afternoon from the Remouchamps viaduct (Aywaille, province of Liège), said the Liège prosecutor’s office.
For a reason that remains to be determined, a 33 -year -old mother voluntarily jumped from the Remouchamps viaduct, located on the E25 motorway in Aywaille, with her child under a year old. The prosecution was notified. The mother is from Luxembourg. It is a homicide followed by suicide.
Public action is extinguished, indicates the Liège prosecution which specifies that additional duties will have to clarify the gesture of the lady.
Contacted by our teams, Gilles de Villers Grand Champs, division prosecutor at the Liège prosecution, confirmed the drama. “Witnesses saw the situation, warned the police, but unfortunately they arrived after the lady’s jump. It has been found that she had jumped with a young child. A medical examiner will go to the morgue to make his buildings. ”
The child is therefore well victim of a voluntary homicide, of an infanticide.
