Techland officially postponed the release date de Dying Light : The BeastFrom August 22 to September 19, 2025, only four weeks before the long -awaited release of the game, which suggests that the company wishes to refine the title before its release.
It seems that Techland takes its time to launch the long -awaited suite which is based on the scenario of Dying Light, while following the original protagonist, Kyle Crane.
Techland announced the news in a press release published on its official website:
“Our goal has always been to make Dying Light : The Beast The best Dying Light game that we have never released. We understand that it can be disappointing, but our experience has shown us how important the first impression is. “
The delay was announced on June 25, and Techland wishes to use this additional time to refine the gameplay, improve the clarity of the user interface, refine the cutscenes and the animations of the players taking into account the returns of the recent playtests. People present at Gamescom 2025 in Cologne, Germany, can always try a playable demo of Dying Light : The Beast in hall 6.
Fans reacted on social networks and the reception reserved for this delay was mixed. Some fans were disappointed and expressed their impatience to explore the new Castor Woods site in Dying Light : The Beast. Others, on the other hand, have been more favorable to postponement, declaring that Techland should take its time to refine the game rather than release a potentially bogged game.
The delay moves Dying Light : The Beast in a very congested launch period from September to October, alongside titles such as Ghost of Yotei, Frostpunk 2, Borderlands 4, Ninja Gaiden 4, The Outer Worlds 2et Indiana Jones and the Great Circle : Order of Giants DLC.
Dying Light : The Beast was initially announced as a DLC for Dying Light 2 : Stay Human. However, given the size and scope of the game, and the return of the game to its narrative roots, Techland has decided to take it out as an autonomous experience.
Dying Light : The Beast sera lancé le 19 septembre 2025 sur Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4, Xbox One et PC.
