In 2018, Elon Musk mentioned an improbable project: an American drive-in, fifties atmosphere, attached to a Tesla supercharger. Many believed in a joke. However, seven years later, the “Tesla Diner & Supercharger” is indeed built, testable. Located on Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood (yes, the project has moved in the meantime), it is now waiting for its first real customers.

Tesla opens a retro-futuristic dinner in Los Angeles: refill, burgers and outdoor cinema
The building does not go unnoticed. With its 864 m², its two floors, its neon facade and its flying saucer shape, it redraws a very passing corner of Hollywood. There is a rooftop, a large interior bar, dinner -style benches, and especially two 14 -meter giant LED screens, visible from the 75 V4 supercharger terminals deployed on the site.
Inside, a Tesla Optimus robot is already visible on a test bench. Its role is not yet specified, but everything indicates a future interaction with customers. The service, it promises to be resolutely old-school: roller skate servers, Rockabilly musical atmosphere, and typical cuisine supervised by chef Eric Greenspan, already known for his high-end burgers in Los Angeles.
The schedules announced: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The entire service should be integrated into the Tesla application, with possible order from its car. No official rate has been published, but the offer is open to everyone, including non-proponents of Tesla.
Opening to the public is expected in the coming weeks, according to sources close to the project. And if this hybrid model seduces, Tesla could well duplicate it elsewhere.
