Emmanuel de Belgique is full of surprise! A few months after revealing that he was undergoing training as a professional footballer in Spain, the young prince unveiled his qualities as a musician by presenting his first compositions made under the name of DJ Vyntrix.
If many princes have already revealed the natures of great revelers, such as Carl Philip of Sweden or Prince Harry, none had yet officially passed behind the turntables. Emmanuel de Belgique has obviously decided to change the situation.
Aged 19, the third child of King Philippe leads a discreet existence in Spain where he follows a football training, where his two elders study in more phases with their royal duties, in Harvard and the royal military school. And while we thought it was concentrated on the round ball, the young man has obviously also decided to make a career in music!
The information comes from the Flemish media “Het Laatste Nieuws” who unmasked the prince behind the identity of Vyntrix a young DJ officially active since June 15 and who is starting to release his first songs. If the first, called “Rio”, suggests Latin influences, the second seems much more inspired by the life of the young man since he is called “Palace”. In both cases, not really words, just electronic music.
A family passion
The site even goes so far as to publish a photo of the prince, which appears the face masked by ski glasses and a black-collar cache, simply revealing its blonde hair. Taken on his Instagram account @vyntrix.music, the image seems to have been deleted, the revelation of the royal identity of the musician leading to an explosion of the public’s interest in his creations.
If the prince’s electronic composition activities are a novelty, we already knew that the young man fed a real passion for the music which was transmitted to him by his parents. The Belgian monarchy site reports that Emmanuel has been playing saxophone for many years while her two parents and her older sister are piano enthusiasts. Princess Eléonore practices the violin.
So could the young man soon make appearances at festivals or animate “Ibiza style” evenings as he likes to put it in hashtag under his publications? Not sure ! Despite his artist’s soul, Emmanuel cannot forget that he is above all a prince, who is in third position in the order of succession to the throne. However, he will be able to console himself with a digital audience, already acquired by the cause of the son of their king.
