Part of the future engineers graduated from the HES-SO Valais-Wallis, trained at the Haute École d’Inngnerie de Sion, will participate in pitch competitions in the Chablais and Haut-Valais organized in collaboration with the partners of Haute Ecole. Students will have 120 seconds and a visual to convince the public and the jury to invest in their project.
The Haute School of Engineering (Hey), l ‘Intercantonal chemistry vocational school (Epic) associate with Swiss Engineering as well as Chablais companies grouping (GEC) to offer a pitch competition for HEI graduates.
The HEI is in fact keen to reveal the quality of the work of its graduates and graduates while offering them the opportunity to confront the public. In 2024, Romain Graber, an energy student and environmental techniques, won the Swiss Engineering price thanks to his work as a bachelor on intelligent piloting of residential buildings in the era of dynamic electricity prices.
For his part, Romain Gabioud, student in the engineering of the living sciences, seduced the public and won the public prize offered by the GEC with its project focused on optimizing mycotoxins in food for LC-MS analyzes.
Scientific conference and exhibition
The Pitch Challenge will be followed by a conference by Fabrizio Sossan, professor with the Energy and Environmental Techniques sector and researcher at the Energy and Environment Institute at the High School of Engineering. The exhibition of students’ diploma work will open its doors from 4 p.m., an opportunity to meet and exchange with future engineers who are preparing for the labor market as well as with teachers, teachers, collaborators, employees of HEI and its partners.
Pitch Challenge also in Visp
Part of these budding engineers and engineers will also participate in the Visp Pitch competition, in collaboration with Lonza on August 28.
