The facts date back to mid-June, in a rather discreet gravel from the canton of Vaud, but have gone relatively unnoticed.
The militant site “overturned” recently echoed an “attack” carried out on the Sapelet site, in Bretonnières, belonging to the Cementier Holcim. The text, not signed, is titled “Cramer Holcim, happily!” And claims rather significant damage: several vehicles burnt down with flammable liquids under the hoods, in the engines and on the tires. The transporting bands, here a metal structure 150 m long used to transport the ore, would also have been “cut”.
The activists, who do not identify themselves, criticize “the crooks who exploit the land”, “imperialism” as well as the funds paid by Lafargue-since merged with Holcim-to Islamist groups in the Middle East. Practical advice to conduct similar sabotage is also given with tutorials for other night actions to the militants.
Complaints after attack
Cantonal police confirms they have received the filing of several complaints and have been informed. It only reports on two vandalized construction vehicles. The investigations are underway and have been entrusted to safety.
The Gravière du Sapelet à Bretonnières provides material to the Eclosepens Cimentry. A portion has already been rehabilitated, another continues its exploitation.

Holcim for his part firmly condemns these new depredations. As a reminder, the Sénépens site had been the subject of a call for sabotage during the early days of the Mormont ZAD. In March 2021, Machines had been attacked and a site decorated with beer graffiti. Machines had also been burnt down in May 2021 in Geneva, triggering the Jérémy affair.
Does this new action sign a rise in power? Holcim challenges in any case that the transporting bands have been affected in significant ways. “Two machines were burnt down at our Breton gravel, and the technical facilities have undergone minor damage,” says Arthur Got, Holcim communications manager. We firmly condemn this act of vandalism and have strengthened our security measures on the site. ”
