Eska Amphphibian 250 Green Turtle: In Cadran’s Fumee

A robust design and a neat aesthetic

The ESKA AMPhibian 250 Green Turtle adopts, like its young elders, a 316L stainless steel case.
Pledge of robustness and corrosion resistance, it is an ideal material for a diving watch.

The dimensions, identical to those of the previous variations, remain contained and comfortable: 40mm in diameter for 13.5mm thick, with a length horn of 46mm.

These relatively compact proportions guarantee a good visual balance and an easy and comfortable wear on most wrists, while giving the watch a certain presence thanks to its thickness which incorporates a curved glass.

Indeed, its beautiful dial is protected by a double dome sapphire glass with anti -reflective treatment.

This curved glass, which recalls the plexi ice cream, reinforces the vintage look of the model while offering the robustness and clarity of modern sapphire.

The case alternates brushed (on the top of the horns) and polished (on the sides) finishes, treated in the smallest detail.

On the back, there is a full box background to guarantee the tightness of the model.
It is decorated with markings including the limited publishing number.

The winding crown, positioned at 3am, is also screwed, ensuring optimal sealing.
In the end, the Green Turtle claims a seal up to 250 meters (25 ATM), enough to allow without fear of scuba diving and guarantee a good safety margin for intensive aquatic use.

Finally, on the mechanical side, the amphibian 250 Green Turtle housing houses a proven Swiss automatic caliber: the Sellita SW200-1 (version without date)-a movement that you will not see due to a full background.
It oscillates at the frequency of 28,800 alternations per hour (4Hz) and has 26 rubies, its power reserve being 38 hours.

If the latter is lower than the market trend growing around 72 hours, it remains sufficient to wear daily.
On the other hand, the choice of this automatic reassembly movement, renowned for its robustness and reliability, makes it possible to contain the final price of the model below the 1000 euros mark.
