Through a publication on Instagram, Captain Lia Walti revealed that she and her teammates sent each selection a box containing typically Swiss products. Inside there was ovomaltine declined in several forms (chocolate tablet, spread, powder), zweifel chips, Kägi chocolates as well as a copy of the Bruändi Dog board game, very popular in German -speaking Switzerland.
All accompanied by a card written by the Swiss themselves, on which we could read the following words: “Here is a little gift from our team for you all. We have packaged our favorite game and some snacks to share-maybe you will appreciate them together. We wish you an excellent stay in Switzerland ”.
The attention seems to have had its effect with the recipients, given the reactions which have reached the Nati – those of the Spanish, the Germans, the Dutch and the Italians.
