Defeat in Europa League
No miracle for Servette, beaten in Utrecht
For his first on the Geneva bench, the French coach saw his team bowing 2-1 against Utrecht. The Servettians leave the Europa League with a cumulative score of 5-2.
The new SFC coach, Jocelyn Gourvennec, could only provide some advice to his troops, without obtaining the hoped for the Netherlands.

Jocelyn Gourvennec did not succeed in a miracle for his first on the bench of Servette. The French technician and his team were released by Utrecht in the 3rd qualifying round of the Europa League.
The handicap suffered during the 3-1 defeat on the outward journey was, as could be expected, proven insurmountable. The return concluded with a 2-1 success of Utrecht thanks to a double of Jensen (57th/74th). Jallow saved the honorary honor on a penalty (80th).
Limited Grenats
Never have the Servettiens have given the impression of being able to overthrow the table. They were very shy on the offensive level. The Dutch were generally more dangerous, but they often lacked precision in the last gesture.
After failing during the qualifications of the Champions League and then the Europa League, Servette will still have a chance to play a European Cup this fall. To do this, it will be necessary to win in the Conference League playoff against Shakhtar Donetsk or Panathinaikos Athens.
