Fifteen Vaudreuil-Soulanges athletes will be Canada Games





While the Flame des Games du Québec has just died, Vaudreuil-Soulanges athletes will soon take over the management of the city of Saint-John’s in Newfoundland and Labrador to take part in the Games of Canada.


Competitions will be held from Friday August 8 to Monday August 25. On its website, the event is described as the largest multisport meeting in the country. It brings together, every two years alternating between summer and winter, more than 2,000 amateur athletes, with or without disability. A total of 30 disciplines are presented from athletics to volleyball to boxing, wrestling, butt, cycling, swimming, softball, table tennis, archery, sailing, etc.


Here are the Vaudreuil-Soulanges athletes who will take part according to the most recent official list provided by Quebec team:


– Aurélie Bélanger – Volleyball – Vaudreuil -Dorion;


-Enzo Biello-Voile-Notre-Dame-de-l’île-Perrot;


– Alexia Chevrier – Softball – Saint -Lazare;


– Anisha Krishna Dickson – struggle – Vaudreuil -Dorion;


– Brianna Doucet – Softball – Saint -Lazare;


– Élodie Fournier – Softball – Saint -Lazare


– Émyrose Gagnon- Softball – Pincourt;


– Jonathan Hinse – Cycling (Road) – Vaudreuil -Dorion;


– Kayla Kamden – Soccer- Pincourt;


– Reilly Lefsrud – Natation – Hudson;


– Emma Pelletier – Softball – Vaudreuil -Dorion;


– Marie -Soleil Rondeau – Softball – Saint -Lazare;


– Jacob Roy – Crosse – Vaudreuil -Dorion;


– Sierra Savard – Crosse – Pincourt;


– Gabriel Séguin – Cycling (Road) – Les Cèdres;


Three adults in the region also accompany the Quebec delegation, Mathieu Fournier, Softball coach of Saint-Lazare, Brad Pelletier, Softball coach of Vaudreuil-Dorion and Evelyne Telmosse on island-perrot which acts as a nutritionist.
