Emulation, a gray territory to explore
Consoles like the Anbernic RG35XX Pro work on eggs in terms of legislation. Because emulation itself is not prohibited, provided you have the original support. If this is the case, you can download the ROM (the dematerialized versions) of your games and put them in the console. Then, the Anbernic RG35XX Pro displays these on its 3.5 inch IPS screen which displays 640 x 480 pixels. It may seem little, but on the games of the oldest consoles, it’s much higher.
A game Boy Advance, for example, displayed 240 x 160 pixels. Sony PSP displayed 480 x 272 pixels. So there you have a screen, certainly, reduced, but which has a better resolution than the majority of the consoles it emulates. On the grip side, you will have the impression of having a game boy in hand, with additional keys: the rear triggers and the joysticks at the front.
A modern way of enjoying retro games
The Anbernic RG35XX PRO benefits from a new processor: it goes from Cortex-A9 ARM to Allwinner H700. Add to that an RAM that goes from 256 GB DDR3 to 1 GB LPDDR4 which fluidifies all the experience and you get a sacred bond forward in terms of technology. This allows you to launch Nintendo 64, Dreamcast and even PSP games in good conditions. The console contains some nice features, such as a video player to read your own files, a function to connect it to a screen and play on it thanks to a Bluetooth controller.
Note that the architecture is based on a Linux system, but that you can find bones dedicated to retrogaming with search on your favorite engine. No batteries to work, there is a 3,200 mAh battery which allows an autonomy of about 7 hours in play. Knowing that the console is compatible with the vibration functions of the games, that you can adjust the brightness and the sound.
