I wanted to offer him something that has a meaning for me, something that represents Basel. ” His choice fell on two FC Basel jerseys, CuvĂ©e 2025/2026, flocked with the name Will Smith and the number 88, the year when the Hollywood star released his first album rewarded with a Grammy.
“I asked him if he preferred something traditional like Basler Läckerli or something related to football,” says Kaya Ersan. He immediately opted for the jersey. ” A present that seduced Will Smith. “He was very relaxed, without any arrogance. It was as if I have known him for 40 years. The Basel artist, who has been carrying out projects for fifteen years with known personalities, like the Hakan and Murat Yakin brothers, remains modest despite his success. His motivation remains intact. “I want to represent Basel. My art was born from my love for the city. It is a pleasant feeling, as a Basel artist, to be able to show what Switzerland has to offer. ”
