Four young men indicted after a home jacking with torture session

It was a night of horror that will mark a small family in Calvados for life. For these facts of terrible violence, four people were indicted for forcible confinement with act of torture or barbarism committed during a night jacking in an organized gang. Facts that occurred on the night of May 16 to 17, 2025 in the village of Moutiers-en-Cinglais in Calvados. “Four members of a family were kidnapped, violated and tortured at their home,” said Caen’s deputy public prosecutor Philippe Leonardo in a statement.

It was the gendarmes of the Caen research section and the Potigny research brigade that have managed to identify several individuals that can be involved in these facts. These four individuals, all adults, were arrested in the Paris region on July 29 and placed in police custody.
