A bit like the notes of a famous basketball game or the MVP ranking, the Power Ranking of FIBA is often subject to discussion in salons and other village PMUs. Are we deciphering the latest?
In eight days the euro begins, Halleluu, and to make us wait the FIBA therefore published its last Power Ranking yesterday. There are French people on the podium, Lithuanians full of hype, and Slovenes probably angry. Ah yes, and we are still looking for the Spanish, cheh.
How does FIBA calculate this ranking? You have not asked for anything and I will therefore answer without too much insurance: evolution of the roster, last results to date, and wind sense, a little. A notion a little troubled we are not going to hide, but at least it makes you cause.
The Germans and the Serbs remain in any case in the first two places and it is super logical, France is third and it is rather cool, while Lithuania leaps in five places, probably because Jonas Valancunas threatened the guy who ranks with an ax. We also note that the Slovenes fall in tenth place and it may be angry on Saturday August 30 against France, while our (no) Spanish friends simply disappeared from the top 10 after having been returned twice in a week by the Blues.
The true truth? She will be for Sunday September 14 after 18 days of battle. By then we are preparing a program for the little onions, but which will not make you cry when we peel them. A conclusion that has neither tail nor head … like this classification?
