There is the equivalent of Tour de France for running! This is called “France while running”. The 36th edition of this team race labeled FFA traveled the roads of the New Aquitaine, between Gan (64) and Saint-Jean d’Angely (17). Six teams of eight runners clashed this year, on daily 190 km daily journeys to travel in relay, or 24 km per athlete on average! Among these teams, the collective mounted by the city of Montflanquin was responsible for representing New Aquitaine. To give them courage, the Lana had mobilized her clubs so that a local team was aligned, for the time of a day, on each of the neo-Aquitaine stages.
The arrival areas were animated by many stands, so as to make the public wait until the arrival of the runners, and to prolong the pleasure after the podiums. On this occasion, the Charente Athletics Committee was present on Saturday July 16 during the Barbezieux stage, to offer people present to assess their health by answering an online questionnaire on their lifestyle (food, sleep, etc.), baptized “Diagnolife”. This 100% anonymous questionnaire then sent his health recommendations to the participants, according to the responses they had provided.
