After a white year, the Lake Festival finally returns to Annecy. Eat impatiently awaited by residents as by visitors, she promises a day rich in emotions. In addition to the spectacular fireworks, many animations will punctuate the day. Here is the full program.
The 2025 edition of the Annecy Lake Festival
Considered one of the largest pyrotechnic shows in Europe, the lake festival returns the Saturday August 2, 2025 With a creation signed by the French company Arteventia, already at the origin of the fires of July 14 in Annecy. Titled Ode to the moonthis new artistic project will be available in six acts to offer a 70 -minute show, as powerful as it is poetic.
Fireworks, water jets, light games, lasers, light objects and Batucadas will punctuate the evening. A rich musical repertoire, made up of 30 songs, and Benoît Allemane’s deep voice will accompany everything. Imagined by the master-artist Édouard Grégoire, this spectacle will pay tribute to the elements of nature and human ties.

The entertainment of the Annecy 2025 lake festival
In 2025, the lake festival no longer concentrated only on the pâquier. It opens to the city, invests new places and offers many free activities and accessible to everyone. Poetry, urban arts, music, dance or exhibitions … This is what awaits you throughout the day:
Marquisats beach & Quai Napoleon III – Poetic Espace
- 11h/15h : podcasts to listen to … in the water! Immerse yourself in the stories around the water and legends of Lake Annecy and Lake Geneva. Plan your swimsuit.
- 15h45/16h45 : Harp concert on Hope III, with a young Annecian artist, for a musical parenthesis by the water.
Place des Cordeliers – Urban Space
- 2:30 pm/6:30 pm : collaborative fresco on the theme of the lake festival, with local artist Kasur Graff.
- 14h30/15h – 16h30/17h : urban dance show Thétysproposed by the company Soul Magnet, freely inspired by the sea myth.
- 3.30 p.m./4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m./6 p.m. : performance hip-hop Genesis By the Floor Fighterz collective, accompanied by shows and initiations for the public.
Square Bernard Bosson – Family space
- 2:30 pm/6:30 pm : giant goose game on the theme of ecology, led by the Aremacs association.
- 2:30 pm/6:30 pm : Family events offered by the Activ’isère company: clowns, juggling, tales and surprises throughout the afternoon.
City center-musical wanderings
- 13h45/15h45 : musical wanderings in the city center with Sound ripailleAnnécian street fanfare. Two different courses are offered: the first from 1:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., the second from 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
- 17h00/17h30 : temps musical fixe au Square Bernard Bosson.
Bonlieu & Center-Ville-History Space
- Until Sunday August 3 : exposition An Annecian passion in Bonlieu. The story of the lake festival told in images and texts, in French and in English.
- 10 p.m./2 a.m. on weekdays – all night on Saturdays and Sundays : Projection of posters from the last 20 editions on the facades of 20 emblematic places in the city center such as rue du Lac, the esplanade of the Town Hall, the Passage de l’Île or the Museum-Château and the Clock Tower.
