Qualified at the Olympic Games on 800 m (eliminated as a draft), it is only on the simple lap that it will therefore be aligned, this Friday (8:10 p.m.), then Saturday, for a possible final. “With the absence in particular of Rénelle Lamote, a podium on 800 m would have been accessible, I think. But I do not feel ready to win over this distance, ”admits the resident of Haute-Bretagne athletics.
Exhausting end -of -studies internship
Wanted by a spring spring between her end -of -studies internship in political science and his two training sessions per day, Léna Kandissounon therefore prefers to “focus on the 400m to seek a qualification for the world championships”, in September, in Tokyo (Japan).
“For four months, I left at 7 a.m. in the morning, I was returning at 9 p.m. I had no time for myself. I was in automatic mode, so I did not realize anything, but when I finished my internship, decompression did not do me good, ”raises the Brestoise by birth.
