Torny-le-Grand’s fold vibrates all the glâne

The village of Torny-le-Grand wrote a page of history by welcoming for the first time in more than thirty years the Giron GLAN YOUNTHESS. The event, which took place from July 17 to 21, attracted more than 30,000 people, spraying the initial objective of 25,000 visitors, reports “Freedom». Lussy shines at the games
The games were the central element of this edition. At the end of the competitions which gathered 21 Glânese youth and 19 guests, the youth of Lussy shone by winning the first two places. The podium was completed by Villaz-Saint-Pierre, Sommentier and Vuisternens-Devant-Romont.
Under the theme “Back to childhood”, the organizers were able to create a unifying event for all generations. Mass for Friday morning elders particularly marked the spirits, recalling the time when religious offices were inseparable from youth. The 34e Edition of the Giron of Glânese youth in 2026 will take place in Sommentier.
