From Delon to Johnny Hallyday, the auctions will panic in Saint-Tropez for cars and motorcycles of stars

For the second consecutive year, the Motorcars Department of Artcurial sets its suitcases on the Golf de Saint-Tropez, in the town of Gassin. An event that Matthieu Lamoure and Pierre Novikoff, the workers’ ankles of this department, want friendly and relaxed. “With this sale, we get closer to a clientele that has the means to have fun”says Matthieu Lamoure.

The catalog has an eclectic choice of nearly 100 vehicles. There is something for everyone and all prices. But Artcurial set out to offer vehicles in line with the environment and neighboring beaches. It is thus among the lots, we discover a Citroën Mehari Azur from 1985 (15,000 to 25,000 euros), a mini Moke from 1987 (20,000 to 30,000 euros) and a Buggy Apal from 1977 (from 20,000 to 30,000 €) but also a beautiful skewer of cabriolets, from the VW Coccinelle from 1971 to the Spider Alfa Romeo Veloce 2000 by a 1978 Honda S800 Cabriolet from 1968 and even an unpublished Fiat 126 Cabriolet (15,000 to 20,000 €).

The catalog also includes classics from the collection: Ferrari 250 GT Lusso from 1963 and a 275 GTB from 1965, a Mercedes 300 SL Roadster from 1959, a Lancia Aurelia B24 Spider America from 1955, a unique copy of the Lamborghini LM002 SUV belonging to the Sultan of Brunei. This vehicle has a raised roof. It is not the only vehicle from a personality. Artcurial puts on sale an MGA from 1957 which belonged to Alain Delon and in which Romy Schneider took place but also Jean-Claude Brialy. The English roadster is estimated between 30,000 and 40,000 euros. There is also a Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 of 2011 benefiting from a prestigious pedigree. Bought new by Sébastien Loeb, it is now the property of François Delecour. Exclusive Porsche 911 Porsche lovers are filled with the presence of a Sport Classic version of 2010 (380,000 to 480,000 €) produced at only 250 units and a 911 s/t of 2022. Close to the new, this model has only traveled 197 km since its exit from the factory. (400,000 to € 500,000).

The sale of Saint-Tropez is also a golden opportunity to acquire a rare Aston Martin Valkyrie of 2022, the supercar developed by Adrian Newey. Finally, among the few motorcycles offered, there is a Harley-Davidson Softail from 1990 that belonged to singer Johnny Hallyday. It was on the handlebars of this personalized machine that the rocker presented himself at his concert in Las Vegas in November 1995. It was estimated between 40,000 and 80,000 euros.
