Gigouzac. Visit of the architect of buildings in France

It is by a beautiful morning of this month of August, ideal for visiting the village, that the elected officials of Gigouzac had an appointment with Lionel Mottin, architect of the buildings of France for the lot for a few months already. It was an opportunity for Lionel Mottin to discover the commune that he had not yet had the opportunity to come and see but also to approach two main files which required his opinion of expert: the maintenance work of the church registered in the buildings of France and the project of enlargement of the school, labeled remarkable heritage of the 20th century. The elected officials were keen to also have his gaze in the town for a future candidacy for the “Most Beautiful Villages de France” label. They then borrowed each rue du Bourg and preciously noted the expert advice from Lionel Mottin. Many developments such as the creation of a real forecourt in front of the church, for example, can further embellish the village. The latter concluded from the visit that the municipality had a remarkable architectural and landscape heritage which already gives it an undeniable charm and even advised elected officials to also turn to the label “Village de character” because a thing is certain, Gigouzac is not lacking!
