The Swiss group Givaudan, specializing in perfumes and aromas, published on Tuesday increased results for the first half, carried again by the fine perfumery against the backdrop of price increases.
For the period from January to the end of June, the Geneva group reported a net profit of 592 million Swiss francs (634 million euros), up 0.7% compared to the same period a year earlier, while its turnover increased by 3.4% to 3.8 billion francs, he said in a press release.
