To Corugne jumping Europeans, the Swiss team continues to sail outside the top-5. The Helvetians are 6th after the second of the three events in the team ranking.
Thanks to an excellent Steve Guerdat, author of a new flawless with Iashin Sitte, and to Nadja Peter Steiner also perfect on Mila, Switzerland limited the breakage.
Géraldine Straumann did better than the day before, but she still dropped a bar in a competition where there was a plethora of flawless. As for Martin Fuchs and Connor Jei, they never found the right pace by making four mistakes for a result that was logically biff.
Great Britain holds the reins
Great Britain is still in the lead with 3.96 penalty points thanks to three perfect routes. Germany follows with 4.19 and Belgium with 4.61. With its 11.10 points, Switzerland will have to benefit from very favorable circumstances to hope to bring a medal on Friday evening.
Easily, on the other hand, Guerdat is 5th after two tests. Nadja Peter Steiner is 11th and Janika Sprunger 16th.
