In Vitrolles, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, a terrible accident occurred this Wednesday, July 30. A man was mortally struck by a truck as he tried to rescue a broken motorist.
A tragic accident. A sixty-something man lost her life after having rescued a broken woman on the highway near Marseille, in the Bouches-du-Rhône. He was overturned by a truck, at full speed according to Provence.
The 64 -year -old victim stopped on the A7 motorway in Vitrolles, to help the driver arrested on the emergency stopover for this fast way. The scene took place around 10:30 am, this Wednesday, July 30.
He managed to restart the vehicle stopped in the Lyon-Marseille direction but when leaving, the driver’s door of the car was swept by a truck rolling on the right right of the highway. In the movement, the sixty -something man was propelled over the road, causing fatal injuries to him.
The rapid intervention of help, in particular deployed thanks to a helicopter of civil security, did not allow to revive the victim. He was declared dead on the spot.

The driver, the deceased’s wife and the truck driver were taken care of in “shock”. The CRS motorway was responsible for investigating the circumstances of the accident.

It is also necessary to bring a safety vest and place a remote signaling triangle of his vehicle, both compulsory since 2008 in France.
