A man was sentenced to prison for mistreatment after abandoning his four children in his car, in full sun. He was parked in front of a sex-shop and spent more than an hour there.
A man was arrested Thursday July 24 in the city of Phoenix (United States) for leaving his four children in the car while he was in a sex-shop, reports the local media Fox 10 Phoenix and the New York Post.
Interested in adult trade, the man had parked in the parking lot, in full sun while leaving the windows of his closed vehicle. He leaves for just over an hour, leaving behind and unattended his four children.
The four children had signs of distress
The temperature inside the car quickly reached unbearable heat, the thermostat reaching 52 degrees. Alerted by the state of children, several people contacted the police who then intervened to release the children.

According to police statements, the four children, aged 2 to 7, all presented signs of distress due to heat. Their body temperature had risen to 37.7 degrees, their skin was discolored and they sweated abundantly.
The children were out of their father’s vehicle and placed in the air -conditioned SUV of the police with water before being taken to the hospital.
The father denied being the owner of the car
The man was inside a business offering “an adult games room with viewing rooms”. Called several times by the police, the man ended up leaving but denied being the owner of the car.

The father was sentenced and imprisoned for four charges of mistreatment and four charges of endangerment.
