Nintendo announces the range of My Mario products addressed to young children. Besides wooden toys and pop-up books, a tablet application is also planned.
This is an area where Nintendo was not expected, and yet it seems obvious. The video game giant, which was once a manufacturer of playing card, will launch a range of “My Mario” products for young children.
The idea is simple, there is a whole population of young parents who grew up with Mario and the characters Nintendo and who will be very sensitive to the idea of offering them toys and books around these themes.
Especially since if the prices announced are high, 116 euros for wooden toys, Nintendo seems to have made efforts in the design of products actually intended for the youngest: a plush, wooden toys for motor skills or small pop-up books.
Finally a great flow, without superfluous
No phone and TV decoder needed? With B & You Pure Fiber, pay only for the main thing, without obligation. A 100 % fiber offer, 0 superfluous, for those who want the best … and nothing else.
Among the products, there is also a brand new game designed by Nintendo.
A free game for tablet and switch
The game Hello, Mario! will be available from August 26 on Nintendo Switch and on mobile devices. It simply takes up the concept of the main menu of Super Mario 64, but in 2D.
A child will therefore be able to play with Mario’s face, pull his ears, his mustache or his cap and discover the reactions of the mustachioed plumber.
The application has been designed to operate without internet connection to limit the activation of Wi-Fi or mobile data.
And as often with Nintendo, there are little ideas. For example, Mario can fall asleep if you stop playing with the application, a way after Nintendo indicates that it is time to take a break.
Funny, Nintendo never uses the Nintendo Switch 2 in communication images around the outing of Hello Mario. The firm is undoubtedly very conscious that we prefer to leave the first switch in the hands of the child, rather than the new brand new console.
The application seems to be any, above all designed for tablets like the iPad, even if it also works on Switch.
The range of My Mario toys is planned to go out with the application on August 26, 2025. As for toys, the release will be done first in Japan, but Nintendo promises to export the range to the international in 2026.
