Here are the worst airlines in Europe in 2025 (and no, Air France is not 1st)

Summer holidays often rhyme with escape, but also with stress, especially for those who fly. Delays, cancellations, unforeseen supplements or lost luggage sometimes tarnish the start (and/or end) of the trip. While millions of passengers fly away every summer, it is better to be well prepared to avoid frequent inconvenience linked to air transport. To this end, it was Flightright that led an in -depth analysis of the main European airlines.

And the worst company in Europe is …

Recall that Flightright wants to be a mediator between the airlines and the frustrated passengers who have faced delays, cancellations or refusal of boarding. “” “Our goal is to help passengers to know and assert their rights”Specifies the company. The study thus presents the performance of each carrier in terms of punctuality, processing of compensation and customer satisfaction requests, thus offering a useful overview to better anticipate their next trip by plane.

At the top of the ranking, we find the Finnish company Finnair, which suffers in particular from a particularly low reliability score. Even if it is the national company of the Republic of Finland, it ranks behind the low-cost companies, starting with Vueling, in second position of this (sad) classification.

The podium is completed by Ryanair who won third place, before another Low-Cost giant, namely Easyjet, without forgetting KLM who occupies fifth place. Among the good students, we find in particular Tap Portugal, but also Iberia, Eurowings or Discover Airlines.

On the side of our national company, Air France, we complete its belt in the thirteenth row, with a general average of 3.15/5, thanks in particular to good management of compensation requests from customers.

And if you are embarking on a few days, let us point out that some experts have recently sounded the alarm concerning certain everyday clothes that we could be tempted to wear during plane trips, which can have an impact on the blood circulation of passengers, with risk of thrombosis.
