Hockey Euro: Red Lions led by Spain at halftime (direct, 2-1)

The first quarter was quite closed with few occasions from and many loss of ball. But while we were moving the end of this first quarter, Spain opened the brand in counter-attack, thanks to Alejandro Alonso, despite the intervention of Loïc Van Doren.

The meeting was raised after the opening goal. If the Spanish put the pressure from the start of the 2nd quarter, Van Doren saved the Red Lions. In the process, from Kerpel equalized for Belgium.

The Lions gained confidence with this equalization and had several opportunities on PC, without being able to conclude. A few moments later, the Spaniards were in turn dangerous on PC but Van Doren did the job again. But two minutes from half-time, Spain resumed the advantage. Following a bad control of Arthur Van Doren in the Belgian circle, the Spanish striker took the opportunity to shoot the Belgian goalkeeper. In the process, Belgium had a huge opportunity on PC but Calzado was perfectly released Hendrickx’s shot.
