Huge relief for Laeticia Hallyday: Johnny’s last home sold, here’s what she’s going to do with this big sum of money

It’s official, Johnny’s widow, Laeticia Hallyday, finally managed to sell the singer’s last home. Their house in Marnes-la-Coquette had been on the market for several years, without success. Today she found takers, freeing Laeticia from a financial burden.

After several years on the market, the legendary house of the Hallyday couple in Marnes-la-Coquette has just been sold. The good news has been unveiled exclusively by Closer magazine.

Bought in 1999 by Laeticia and Johnny for the sum of 5 million euros, the Savannah is a house of 1000 square meters living space and 5000 square meters of land. Despite its location in a supervised residential area, and all the dream services it offers (going from the swimming pool, to the home cinema, passing through a gym and even … a tennis court), the house struggled to sell itself since the singer’s death.

It must be said that its very marked decoration, its symbolic weight and the sale price deemed far too high, have several times discouraged potential buyers. It is only after accepting to review its requirements downwards down below the 11 million euros mark, that Laeticia can now blow since the house has been purchased.

The end of financial ordeal

The exact amount of the sale has not been disclosed in the press, but Closer claims that the sum would allow Laeticia to be able to settle its tax debts, estimated today at 7.7 million euros. The relief is complete for the one who had to manage the singer for a long time after his death, including his debts with the French taxman.

Enough to take a new start with his current companion, Frédéric SUANT, and close a chapter of his life which was a source of many anxieties. According to Closer, the future of Johnny’s widow promises to be radiant since she would consider a move to Miami in order to get closer to the one she loves today.
