A 21 -year -old Albanian student was sentenced to justice to one year in prison for transporting no less than 44 kg of cannabis in her suitcase. She had been checked by returning from Thailand by customs officials to Lyon-Saint-Exupéry airport.

When she came back from Thailand, she was finally stuck by customs officers at Lyon-Saint-Exupéry (Rhône) airport, reports Le Progrès.

A risk that she agreed to take for the sum of 10,000 euros. Before the judges, she explained that she wanted above all “to help her family and finance her studies”.
