A 21 -year -old Albanian student was sentenced to justice to one year in prison for transporting no less than 44 kg of cannabis in her suitcase. She had been checked by returning from Thailand by customs officials to Lyon-Saint-Exupéry airport.
44 kg of drugs! A 21 -year -old Albanian student was sentenced Thursday July 17 to a year in prison and a customs fine of 176,716 euros for carrying a colossal quantity of cannabis in her suitcase. When she came back from Thailand, she was finally stuck by customs officers at Lyon-Saint-Exupéry (Rhône) airport, reports Le Progrès.

A risk that she agreed to take for the sum of 10,000 euros. Before the judges, she explained that she wanted above all “to help her family and finance her studies”.
