In Geneva, the risk of fire in the forest increases
The danger was announced by 3 out of 5 Friday. It is forbidden to make a barbecue in the forest outside the fitted spaces.

The canton of Geneva Return its level of vigilance with regard to the risk of fire in the forest. The cursor is placed on the “marked danger” box, level 3 on a scale of 5, indicates Friday the Territory department (DT).
Having a barbecue outside the locations developed is now prohibited in forest areas and in all protected sites, such as the Allondon valley or the Laire valley. It is not allowed, either, to light a fire less than 10 meters from the edges, specifies the DT in a press release.
In addition, notes the department, people who make fire in equipped places must imperatively take all the necessary precautions. The fire must be permanently monitored and be well extinguished before leaving. In the event of a strong wind or gusts, you must give up lighting a fire.
This increase in vigilance is due to the current weather conditions. The situation assessment takes into account temperatures, relative humidity, wind speed and last precipitation.
