An 82 -year -old man filmed saving a disoriented koala in the middle of a busy road has toured social networks in Australia.
Traffic was immobilized in Gold Coast, a city located about sixty kilometers from Brisbane, when the elderly driver, named Terry, came down from his car, caught the animal and placed it safe on the side of the roadway, reported the daily 7news earlier this week.
It is however the little conversation he had with the koala after his life, where he seems to scold him like a turbulent child, who ignited the canvas.
Many amused comments swept over social networks in reaction to video.
In an interview at 7news, Terry finally revealed the contents of this little quarrel with the marsupial: “I told him not to get rid of me, because I was trying to help him, but the little garnement continued,” he said, laughing.
According to him, the animal simply tried to defend itself. “If you grasp it quickly and properly, it quickly understands – especially when you get away from the road – that it is being sheltered.”
Like a good protector, the 82 -year -old man even returned twice a day to verify that the Koala – now nicknamed Ted – was fine.
“I didn’t see him anymore, then he suddenly moved, I spotted him … He knew I had returned,” he says.
Like what, all heroes do not carry a cape: some are content with some scratches.
