In 2024, the median salary in Switzerland for a full -time job reached 81,500 francs. Behind this global figure, strong inequalities persist, especially between men and women.

An active person working full -time received a median salary of 81,500 francs in 2024, said the Federal Statistics Office (FSA) on Friday. At equal occupancy rate, women, however, continue to be much less remunerated.
Employees 100% committed to 90,800 francs in 2024, compared to 80,000 for women, or a wobble wages of 12% for seconds, according to the indications provided on Friday by the OFS, which is based on the Swiss survey on the active population (ESPA).
