InstagramA historic wagon was ransacked by vandals near Interlaken. Individuals have broken down windows and let off steam inside.
This 1950 wagon was in service for the Bernese Oberland railways (BOB) up to about two years ago, explains “Berner Zeitung”. Since his withdrawal, he belongs to Meterspurbahn, an association of passionate volunteers who planned to restore it and then use it in the future for historical visits. It was parked near Interlaken-Est station.
It is this association that has just castigated vandalism on social networks, supporting images. Broken windows, coating of the deliberately destroyed, interior vandalized seats, is it listed. Note that the graffiti outside the car were already present, but not the many tags found inside.

“It is not an old car, but a unique historic monument that we are committed to preserving. What was destroyed here is irreparable, ”deplores the association.
On Instagram, she explains that she has filed a complaint. It also promises a reward to those who would identify the authors and their request to contact the Bernese police.
