Arrival sixth during the seventh stage this Friday, Kim short keeps his yellow jersey, two days before the end of the Tour de France. The Mauritian denounces however an anti-game behavior of two French women: Juliette Labous and Evita Muzic.
Kim the Court did not appreciate the behavior of certain runners during the seventh stage of the Tour de France female, connecting Bourg-en-Bresse to Chambéry this Friday. Arrival sixth, a minute from the impressive Maëva Squiban, the runner of AG Insurance-Soudal keeps her yellow jersey in pain and ahead of Pauline Ferrand-Prevôt of a handful of seconds.
But the Mauritian had a rant after the finish line, targeting two French runners from FDJ-Suez: Juliette Labous and Evita Muzic.
“I shouted to let me go”
In difficulty at the top of the Col du Granier, the last of the stage, at 5.4% for almost nine kilometers, Kim Court assured in the descent, returning to the ground and allowing him to ensure his yellow jersey. But an incident occurred with other runners when the Mauritian found the leading group.
Everything was played at a roundabout where Demi Vollering “created an opening,” said the court. Before reappearing in front of the behavior of her vis-à-vis: “I wanted to follow her, but two of her teammates, Juliette Labous and Evita Muzic, blocked me. It was not fair. I shouted to let me go. But I suppose that they will call it tactics, right?”, Explains the yellow jersey.
With the mountain stages to come for the last two days of the Tour de France female, Kim Le Court is not guaranteed to finish leader in the general classification, she who is struggling at altitude. His teammate Sarah Gigante, on the other hand, presents a more interesting profile for such reliefs after winning two difficult stages during the female Giro.
