Joint press release – Iranian state threats (31/07.25)

Albania, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Spain, the United States, Finland, France in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Czeching condemn the increase in state threats that Iranian intelligence services have weighing on their respective territories.

We are united in our opposition to the attempts to murder, abduction and harassment of people in Europe and North America led by the Iranian intelligence services, which constitute blatant violations of our sovereignty. Iranian intelligence services are increasingly collaborating with international criminal organizations to target journalists, opponents, citizens of Jewish confession and civil servants or former civil servants in Europe and North America. These actions are unacceptable.

We consider all these attacks, whatever the target, as violations of our sovereignty. We are committed to working together to prevent these acts and we call on the Iranian authorities to put an immediate end to these illegal actions in our respective territories.
