Jupiter Energy Limited is an oil exploration and production company. The company focuses on the development of its land assets in western Kazakhstan. The company holds 100 % of the license in Bloc 31, located in the MANGISTAU basin, rich in oil, near the port city of Aktau. Bloc 31 has an area of approximately 123 square kilometers and the entire license covers a proven oil production area. The company’s operations are based in the port city of Aktau, located about 80 kilometers from block 31. Three oil fields were discovered in the license area: West Zhetybai, Akkar East and Akkar North (East Block). The oil fields of Akkar Est and Akkar Nord (East Bloc) were operated in the framework of complete commercial licenses and the oil field of Zhetybai West was operated as part of the preparatory period of its commercial license. The company sells its products through various sales channels, especially in national and export oil markets. Its cumulative production amounts to around 90 tonnes (675 barrels) per day.
