After 15 years to cover the news, TVA lost one of his information pillars in East-du-Québec with the departure of Katia Laflamme.
The journalist will soon join a company whose head office is located in Bas-Saint-Laurent.
“I decided to hang my microphone. Within VAT, I had the chance to live countless adventures, but it’s time for me to turn the page. The past few years have been difficult for the regional media, and my decision is partly motivated by all these changes, “she wrote on her Facebook page.
Arrival in Rimouski to join the Cogeco team, which became WeTV, Katia Laflamme then joined TVA Est-du-Québec to become a familiar face as a journalist and news reader.
Over the years, viewers have also been able to see it at LCN and Hi Hello weekend.

Last year, journalist Simon Gamache-Fortin also left TVA Est-du-Québec to join, permanently, to LCN and TVA in Montreal.
