It was yesterday that its doors were operating the 2025 edition of one of the most popular music festivals in Montreal during the summer, the Osheaga festival.
This year, for the 2025 edition, several artists from around the world, including The Killers, Olivia Rodrigo, The Chainsmokers and Alex Warren will be present from August 1 to 3 at Park Jean-Drapeau.
And yesterday, when The Killers perform, we were able to recognize familiar faces in the crowd.
Indeed, the director general of the Montreal Canadiens, Kent Hughes, as well as the owner of the team, Geoff Molson, were present to attend the show of The Killers.
The Killers is a cult rock group from the early 2000s, best known for its song “Mr. Brightscide”.
Kent Hughes and Geoff Molson therefore took a break last night of their hard work during the dead season, in order to enjoy a beautiful show in Montreal.
The two are therefore currently in town, and are not completely on vacation.
We know that Kent Hughes remains very active on the transactions market, while he is still one of the most aggressive managers through the National Hockey League.
Was the CEO of the Tricolore to this show last night to celebrate a good blow to come, or simply to take a break from his very busy summer?
This is what we will be in the coming days, and by the start of the 2025-2026 campaign.
